Snowmobile Driving School - 2 hours Price Adult €95.00.
An introduction to snowmobile driving, you will receive instructions on the operation and safety aspects of the snowmobiles and driving before embarking on a leisurely paced drive through the forest. This trip is designed to allow you to become comfortable and confident with the operation of a snowmobile whilst still being a fun and exciting excursion. On the way back grill sausages and drink coffee by the log fire. We highly recommend everyone participating in a snowmobile excursion throughout the week joins this excursion first as it will greatly enhances your enjoyment for future excursions/safaris however it is not compulsory.

Snowmobile safari under the Arctic stars – 3 hours
Price Adult €85.00 Single supplement for solo driving €35.00
When the night falls this snowmobiling excursion starts. Drive through the snowy forests and over frozen lakes. On the way back speed through snowy forest roads. Stop over by a forest camp where steaming coffee will be prepared in the traditional way on the open log fire. On a clear night, who knows you might see northern lights in the sky. Return back to Suomu.

Snowmobile safari to the Lumberjacks museum lodge – 4 hours
Price Adult €90.00, Single supplement for solo driving €40.00
Excursion with snowmobiles to the Lumberjacks museum. Drive through snowy forests. Visit a live hood of Lumberjacks in the early days in a Lumberjacks museum lodge. Enjoy a steaming coffee and grill sausages like they used to do, by the campfire. Return back to Suomu.

Snowmobile safari of three fells- 7 hours
Price Adult €214.00, Single supplement for solo driving €67.00
A challenge to confront the true wilderness of the Lapland. Whether it is crispy and snowing or sunny nature will provide an opportunity to get to know the ever changing weather conditions of Lapland. The excursion starts from the Suomutunturi, over the Vilmatunturi towards the Sallatunturi. Visit a reindeer park and experience a magical reindeer sleigh ride. A delicious traditional Lappish dish (salmon or reindeer) is enjoyed at the park. Receive a driving license before returning to the Suomu resort by snowmobiles. With this excursion you drive 130 km through beautiful scenery.

• Tours are based on two persons per snowmobile.  On some safaris a passenger may be carried, where this is suitable a price for passengers has been noted.
• The time shown is an average, the actual length of time will vary due to group size, ability, weather, snow conditions etc
• Finnish law dictates a minimum age of 15 years with a FULL DRIVING licence for ALL drivers (please bring your licence with you) Back to top
