Lapland, walking the wilderness

For the recreational walker there are numerous walking and hiking trails. Through the pine forests - just listen to the unmistakable and beautiful sound of silence broken only by the crunching of pinecones underfoot or woodpeckers drilling into a nearby tree or the odd gust of wind rustling through the treetops. Across marshlands, using cut log walkways, fells, moors and mountains our walking tours will provide you with a chance to see the beautiful varied landscape of Lapland.

These walks are suitable for all abilities and ages, are all with an English speaking guide and can be booked individually or combined to create your own mini-safari.

All walking and hiking excursions are subject to a minimum of 6 adult participants. Each individual booking received counts towards this minimum requirement.

Around the Mountain (4 hours). Operates: 13.30-17.30.
Price Adult €30.00. Child €22.00.
Walk all around and sometimes up and down the Suomu Mountain.
Stop half way at a small campsite. Approx. 16 kilometers.
