Winter Holiday Activities in Finland

Traditionally winter activities use snow, snowmobiles, huskies and reindeer to provide exciting excursions available to all ages. We have listed as samples some of the tours that we operate out of the ski resort of Suomu in Finland. Generally such tours or similar will be possible from other ski resorts. Suomu Excursions in Winter 07-08

You’ll be spoilt for choice with the range of winter excursions and activities on offer in Finland. There are a number of adventurous pursuits, ideas to relax, excursions, activities that are just plain fun and some unusual equipment to hire. There’s something for everyone to enjoy from snowshoeing to ice fishing, you will have trouble choosing just what to do from the options available to you. Whatever you do choose, we’re sure they will enhance your visit to this winter wonderland that is Finland.

All short winter tours and excursions are subject to a minimum of 2 adult participants unless otherwise specified.

Winter 2007 - 2008 programs will be available in autumn 2007.

It is best to pre-book these excursions/safaris or equipment so that you know your itinerary prior to arriving and to avoid disappointment of your chosen options being full.

A La Carte Lapland does not charge collision damage in case snowmobile is damaged.
All activities are subject to change and cancellation is a possibility should local weather conditions not allow them to take place.
All excursions are subject to a minimum of 2 adult participants unless otherwise specified.
Times given are average; exact timings will vary depending on group size, ability, weather and snow conditions.
The snowmobile excursions are based on two persons sharing a snowmobile, if you wish to drive solo please notice the single supplement of the tour.
Husky Tours are suitable for any age except infants.
Reindeer Excursion/Safari, Please note the reindeer move very gently and slowly and you will be in the sleigh for some time, please ensure you dress very warmly with extra layers for all reindeer excursions/safari.
We reserve all rights to change the order of activities within excursions if weather, snow or other condidtions so require. Clients will be adviced of changes before departure.
